The Annapolis Songwriters Festival is modeled after the hugely successful Key West Songwriters Festival, which in its 26th year, continues to be the world's largest festival of its kind. Highlighting the specialized craft that is the essence of music, this festival aims to give music lovers a chance to get to know the names and faces behind the songs in an up-close and personal setting.

The festival takes place September 15-17 throughout Downtown Annapolis. Jake Owen with George Birge (September 17th) and Amos Lee with Madison Cunningham (September 16) are performing at the City Dock stage located in Downtown Annapolis at Susan Campbell Park. Other ticketed venues include Rams Head On Stage, MC3 Annapolis, and Maryland Hall. Free events will be taking place in bars and restaurants throughout Downtown Annapolis along the 'Songwriters Trail' from Westgate Circle to City Dock.
